IP addresses are used transiently to derive approximate geographic information and for basic security purposes (such as bot detection). IP addresses are not stored with event data.

If you reject analytics cookies, analytics tracking does not use persistent cookies and operates in a limited, non-persistent mode without cross-session identification.

Third Parties

Analytics data is processed by PostHog, Inc. using its EU-hosted cloud infrastructure.

To improve reliability and delivery of analytics requests, analytics traffic may be routed through Cloudflare, Inc. as part of PostHog’s managed proxy functionality.

Cloudflare processes analytics traffic on behalf of PostHog for routing and security purposes. This may involve transient processing of IP addresses and request metadata.

Analytics data is primarily stored and processed within the European Union.

PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.

You can:

• Accept analytics cookies, allowing us to collect pseudonymous usage statistics.
• Reject analytics cookies, in which case only limited cookieless measurement will occur.
